Museum curators usually specialize in a broad discipline, such as anthropology, art, decorative arts, natural history, social history, science, or technology.

Entry Pathway
1. Complete 10 + 2 in humanities stream with History as a subject
2. Complete Bachelor’s degree in History/Ancient Indian History and Archaeology or its equivalent
3. Complete Master’s degree in Museology followed by a PhD in the same or relevant discipline
OR
Complete Master’s degree in Ancient or Medieval Indian History/Archaeology/Anthropology/Geology with knowledge of the Pleistocene era and then complete PG Diploma course in Museology
